A place like no other

Ojai — pronounced "OH-hi" — takes its name from the Chumash word for "moon." The valley sits in a rare east-west running mountain range, which creates the legendary "Pink Moment": at sunset, the Topatopa Mountains turn a luminous shade of pink while the valley below falls into shadow.

The town has attracted artists, writers, and seekers for over a century — from philosopher Krishnamurti, who spent much of his life here, to the generations of potters, painters, and musicians who still form the backbone of its community today.

Ojai's agriculture shapes daily life: avocados, citrus, honey, and wine grapes thrive in the valley soil. The Sunday market is a town institution. Despite its proximity to Los Angeles, Ojai has maintained strict development limits — preserving its small-town character and the agricultural land that defines the valley.

Realtor · Ojai Valley Specialist

The Ojai Valley has been Sheryl's home for 25 years, where she has raised four children — all benefitting from the kindness and culture this haven offers. Her favorite part of real estate is getting to know people and properties, helping to make the pieces of the puzzle fit.

"I needed someone special to represent my home. Due to some special circumstances my agent needed to truly go the extra mile to handle some tricky communications and keep things on track. She was just the greatest — I feel so blessed to have had Sheryl working on my team."

"Sheryl went above and beyond to care for the property when we couldn't be there. She cares about her clients, which is unusual in our experience. I would highly recommend her personal touch."
